The man then turned to the veteran and reassured him that while he may be going through a tough time, as long as he takes things day by day, things will get better. This act blew everybody out of the water who witnessed it. When asked about why he did it, the man, clearly a recent immigrant who loves the United States, simply replied that none of us would have been able to live in the United States without soldiers’ sacrifice.
