Francine lived in Alexandria before the outbreak so naturally she joined the Alexandria Safe Zone. She was appointed to be a construction worker in the Safe Zone. She also became a Member of The Militia.
She was shooting against a group of people from the Saviors and one of the Saviors shot her in the chest. Francine died on screen in the 8th season. The Militia destroy her brain so that she will not be able to be turned into a walker.
