Lori Grimes is a main character on the Walking Dead. She is married to the protagonist of the show, Rick Grimes. Lori was a teacher before the apocalypse in a classic suburban family with one son and one daughter.
After the apocalypse she believed her husband Rick to be dead so she joined Shane Walsh on their journey to Atlanta in order to protect her son Carl from harms way. Lori and Shane begin a relationship on this journey but sadly Lori dies on screen.
