Soldiers out in the middle of the field and need to go to the bathroom can’t just go in a normal toilet. Instead, they have to go in latrines, which are mobile and not connected to running water. How does one get rid of this waste you might ask? Well, it is one person’s job to take all of the waste in a barrel, throw gasoline over all of it, and set it on fire. The person must then make sure that the fire burns everything in the barrel.
