During an emergency when the power goes down one would usually call the electric company to come out and fix the power lines. However, the United States Military doesn’t have that option, instead relying on a team of military linemen to string up the electrical lines on bases all across the country and the world. Without these guys building, fixing, and maintaining the electrical lines everywhere from Camp Atterbury in Indiana to Bagram airfield in Afghanistan, the US military would have no electricity.
