The buffet might over endless choices and a variety of foods, but what it also offers is lots of bacteria. Most buffets, unless they are made professionally, are served at uneven temperatures which is the perfect ground for growing bacteria. In addition, it’s usually prepared with leftovers and lots of oil. One study even found that the some of the eggs used in buffets are not even real but they are liquid substitutes.
