While on the topic of family, can we just mention that Andie’s family is never mentioned once in the film. While there is are multiple mentions, and even a huge scene, with Ben’s family, Andie seems to be born out of nowhere with no family at all.
Did she have a falling out with her parents? Was she an only child? Why did Ben’s folks get such an important part in the film and Andie’s were just completely left out? We have so many questions!
