Why didn’t Andie just leave her job? She had a journalism Master’s degree, after all. She obviously hated her column, yet she stayed with Composure Magazine regardless.
Maybe because of her friends or because her boss lead her on to believe that if she put in a little grunt work, she could eventually write what she wants. When that didn’t happen, she used it as an excuse to run away – when she was really leaving because she was heartbroken, another problematic thing because she only knew Ben for ten days.
