When they got back home, they decided to conquer their next goal – finally getting married. Just six months after she was diagnosed with the illness, the couple said “I do” at Emmy’s family home.
Emmy’s mother had always said Jake was the right one for Emmy, and she was right about that. Emmy’s attitude towards life was just to enjoy it, however short it might be. “People waste so many years of their life being miserable,” Emmy said. “Life is so short and we are determined to enjoy it.”
