During his time married, Cage was able to star in a number of blockbusters, including ‘The Rock’, ‘Con Air’, and ‘Face/Off’ that saw him working with superstar John Travolta. During 1999 Cage starred in ‘8mm’ which was an instant hit. The movie shot to number one at the box office, as well as making over $14 million during its opening weekend. Even though the audience loved it, the critics didn’t as they gave an overwhelming number of negative reviews. However, the film soon became another cult classic.
