Because of this, Thor: Ragnarok decided not to include the notion that Valkyrie as a character is part of the LGBTQ community. In fact, she is the first Marvel character to be open about her relationship status! While it was not explicitly confirmed in the film, Tessa Thompson has confirmed herself that she is also a part of the community.
