As Tessa Thompson made her acting debut, she was soon snapped up by casting directors. Before too long, she was working on her Shakespeare and appearing in productions of The Tempest and even Romeo and Juliet. However, after three years on the stage, Tessa realized that she wanted more from her acting career. So she attended audition after audition and eventually scored her first television role in 2005. Although this was only a small cameo, it paved the way for an incredible career ahead of her.
