Speaking of the Rat Pack, this photo was taken in 1962 at a New York diner, and it beautifully captures the time. After World War II, New York became known as one of the greatest cities in the world, but after the population of the city peaked in 1950, prices rose and businesses were driven out of town.
But even though it was a time of crisis for the city that never sleeps, it remained a huge point of interest even until today.
