Carrie was born to Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, both of whom were actors and singers. She was raised in Burbank, California, but ended up going to Beverly Hills High School (until her sophomore year). It was in the middle of high school that Carrie appeared in Irene, a Broadway revival that her mother, Debbie Reynolds, was starring in. This was the beginning of Carrie’s passion for acting.
