In late years, Carrie got herself a French Bulldog named Gary. Gary was her emotional support animal who helped her manage her anxiety and pressure from appearances and red carpets. She would bring Gary with her almost everywhere. Carrie was clean for a very long time. It wasn’t until her passing that the world realized that she had returned to use the substances she used to care for so much.
