Arya Stark and The Hound of Game of Thrones weren’t a great duo because they cared about each other and shared mutual interests. They were a phenomenal on-screen pair because of their deep resentment for one another as they traveled in search of The Lannisters or Starks. Watching Arya become a hostage of one of the men on her “hit list” was anticipating and at time, fairly suspenseful. Along the way, we saw their hatred for one another lessen with experience and time, but not enough for Arya to stick around when The Hound was brutally beaten by Brianne of Tarth and left to die.
