Take the cliche street-wise cop and the uptight, intellectual partner and you have one of the most famous thriller series of all time. Yes, you guessed it! Starsky and Hutch’s storyline may have been slightly obvious, but that didn’t stop them from becoming the most loved law enforcement partners on television. Starsky and Hutch were first male characters on television to openly embrace one another and pass brotherly love back and forth. At the time, this was unusual and in engaging in unfamiliar body language, they broke the mold of perceived masculinity in the 70’s. Right on!
