Richard Dreyfuss was a big deal in the 1970’s. He starred in smash-hits like Jaws, Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, American Graffiti, and Mr. Holland’s Opus before falling off the face of the Earth. In 2002 he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in The Day Reagan Was Shot. In 2006 Dreyfuss went public with his diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder and has since undergone treatment for his mental illness. He is now married to Svetlana Erokhin and they live in San Diego, California.
