Her real impression on the acting world and on audiences was in her roles in Woody Allen’s films. Her first role in Allen’s films was in the 1972 film Play It Again, Sam and continued with Sleeper, Love and Death, and Annie Hall. She won the Oscar for her role as Annie Hall.
