Ben now hopes he can inspire others with his amazing story. His father says it’s impossible to know how many lives Ben’s story has touched. “It is so important during that overwhelming experience to feel hope and to know you aren’t alone,” he said. “Ben’s survival does just that.” Ben is adamant on sending a message to never give up on your dreams. “It means a lot to inspire other young runners and even other amputees to start running.” Ben said. “I want them to know to keep trying.”
