[post_page_title]Runner’s World[/post_page_title]
When Ben turned 12, he decided to enter the Runner’s World cover contest – in which readers submitted their athletic photos for the cover of Runner’s World magazine. He submitted a photo of himself, running on his prosthetic leg along with his dad. They were running in a triathlon, up a hill, and in the rain. While he was too young to win the contest, his picture caught the editors’ eyes, and they decided to do a story on Ben. And the picture, featured in the article, actually went completely viral.
