Now Ben had to face a new challenge. Only a year after getting used to running with a standard prosthetic leg, he now needed to learn how to run on a “running leg,” a different kind of prosthetic. To do this, he had to master a whole new motion – swinging his leg in an outer motion instead of straight ahead – and this wasn’t an easy thing to do. It’s this leg, the running leg, that set him back during the Sea Turtle Youth Triathlon.
