Private Morgan decided to carry Ben across the finish line of the triathlon. The announcer, who saw what was happening, said, “Ladies and gentlemen, I want you to turn around and look at what’s happening on the course.” Ben’s mother turned as soon as she heard the announcement, to see her son being carried on Private Morgan’s back through the rest of the course. She couldn’t stop crying as she witnessed this emotional scene. And as the two crossed the finish line, the crowd cheered and applauded them.
