Fortunately for Saroo, his adoptive family gave him a wonderful new home. They gave him food and shelter and most importantly, love. He knew, however, that his birth family was still out there. When he got older he discovered Google Earth, the satellite technology that allows you to view nearly any coordinates in the world. He recognized his hometown on the map and found where exactly his village was. In an emotional journey, he travelled back to India with his adoptive family to reconnect with his biological one.
