Continuing with the list of celebrities linked with the Marines, comedic actor Rob Riggle served for a very long time in the reserves. He enlisted in 1990, receiving numerous medals during his 23 years of service. For the Marines he would act as a public relations officer but received medals for his duties performed both in Kosovo and Afghanistan. In 2013 he retired from the Marines with the well-decorated and very respectable rank of lieutenant colonel.
