[post_page_title]Building up his collection[/post_page_title]
His collecting habit started in 1980 and lasted for a good five years, during which time Beach picked up an incredible 42 different school buses. None of these vehicles came cheap, with each one costing him something in the region of $300. That’s more than $12,000 that Bruce put towards his little project, so needless to say, he really needed it all to work out.

If he didn’t, that was a lot of money going straight down the drain. Why was he so interested in all these old vehicles though? Well, his choice of the school buses was down to the reinforced steel roofs they were fitted with. He figured that these made the vehicles blast proof, which was exactly what he needed for his plan. So, he started lining them up side by side and set everything into motion.
