We get that when we’re watching a movie, the filmmakers want us to remember the names of the characters in it, so they have to repeat them. But sometimes, they excessively repeat names over and over to the point where the dialogue just doesn’t make sense.
People don’t repeat each other’s names every other sentence in a conversation. “How could you do this to me, Jack? I can’t believe you, Jack. Okay, Jack? Goodbye, Jack.”
