New York City is often misrepresented in movies and TV shows – in real life, NYC is very crowded and fast-paced. There’s also scaffolding covering many buildings, which are hidden from sight in films.
When you see someone living in New York, they would usually have a pretty fancy apartment, but realistically, these apartments should be half the size they are in the movies. It’s pretty expensive to live in New York, so people with normal jobs probably won’t be able to afford a huge, lavish, two-bedroom apartment in Manhattan.
