Although the Beatles were one of the leading faces of music in 1969, they weren’t on the guest list. Apparently, the late John Lennon said that he had been denied a visa to the US and, therefore, couldn’t make it.
However, people later uncovered that it might have been thanks to Lennon’s wife, Yoko Ono. Apparently, she was denied access to the festival. They might not have been at Woodstock, but that didn’t stop from people across the US arriving for one of the most memorable weekends of a lifetime.
