Coming back into that spot in Maine, Knight knew that he really wanted to do one thing and one thing only – get lost. He had no compass, no map, and not much in the way of provisions.
He was sick of the world and wanted to just get lost in the middle of the Maine wooded wilderness. So he parked his car, put the keys on the dashboard, and walked into the treeline. He had no idea when he would be back.
