Knight was sentenced to a seven month jail term in Maine, and was forced to pay a grand total of $1,500 for all the peanut butter, Mountain Dew, and other snacks that he stole from the camp and other peoples’ cabins.
He was additionally put on three years probation, and mandated to go to a support group for people who have mental problems. It is interesting that the State of Maine views wanting solitude as a mental health issue.
