Feeling safe in your own home is crucial and it seems like Monroe also felt this way as there is a wall surrounding her property. While this isn’t necessarily an uncommon method of security, it does play into the idea that the home was her own little fortress.
It’s unclear if the wall was for protection or privacy, but we certainly do hope that Miss Monroe was able to feel safe in her home and that she wasn’t scared to be without a barrier from the outside world.
