Another theory floating around is that Marilyn Monroe was a communist or at least a sympathizer. It was widely believed that her third husband, playwright Arthur Miller, was linked to the political party along with other people in Monroe’s close circle, including her doctors.
This led people to think that she could have possibly been eliminated because of her connections. When new residents moved into her home, they found cameras and wires all over, but this was also suggested to be at the hands of the Kennedy’s.
