Despite her difficult upbringing and tough life, it seemed like Marilyn Monroe almost always had a smile on her face. To the outside world, she seemed to have the perfect life, but what went on behind closed doors could be what lead to her death.
From her mother’s mental illness, to her severe anxiety, self-consciousness, and substance abuse, she did not have it easy. Her childhood is usually credited with the reason behind her emotional instability. It takes a truly strong person to keep a smile through it all.
