Many many famous actors auditioned for the role of Han Solo before Harrison ‘Legend’ Ford was cast. Some future big name stars including Kurt Russell, Kevin Spacey, and even Al Pacino, auditioned! In fact, Pacino was the studio’s first choice for the role. Hard to imagine Big Al portraying everyone’s favorite ‘scruffy looking Nerf herder,’ right?
