As always, there’s a flip side to the many photos of women putting themselves in harm’s way. That flip side is the boyfriends of Instagram phenomenon, which has become so widespread it even has – in a rather ironic twist – its own Instagram account.
It involves boyfriends or partners of women who put themselves into ridiculously convoluted or outright life-threatening situations, all for the sake of the perfect shot – of their girlfriends! Most of the time, these boyfriends aren’t even in the photo, making the whole endeavor even more questionable.
