One of the complaints Kody and Kelly received in the wake of their photo had less to do with it specifically, and more with a larger worrying trend among “social media influencers.”
Simply put, the commenter in question wondered why it always seemed like the woman was the one risking her life to snag the photo of a lifetime. “Never see a guy hanging over a cliff,” they concluded. It’s not a bad point. If a couple wishes to take a risky photo, why doesn’t the man step up to take it?
