Titanic received and ignored six iceberg warnings before its untimely end. The night of the sinking, as we mentioned before, were not ideal at all for iceberg detection. The calm water, moonless night, and crisp air made it hard to see any water crashing against an iceberg before it was too late to do anything about it – just like what actually happened in the case of this ship.
