This might be the single-most hilarious joke we’ve ever seen in a library. For anyone not in the know, Fahrenheit 451 is a book in which government employees called “firemen” burn banned books – the title being an (inaccurate) reference to the temperature at which paper catches fire.
As such the placing of a fire extinguisher in a replica of Fahrenheit 451 is a masterstroke of visual comedy, and one that you could only expect from the mind of a librarian.
