Look, the first thing you learn about the library is that there’s no talking. The first thing. If you have a call to take, please take it outside. Unfortunately some people just won’t take that message to heart, necessitating the creation of a cone of silence by these librarians.
If somebody’s going to take a call, they should be made to do so in a chamber of shame where everyone can judge them. We salute these librarians for their service.
