Libraries are generally safe places, but they’re still public venues anyone can walk into – which is why it always surprises us to see people leave their valuables lying around while they grab a drink or talk on the phone.
The employees at this library feel the same, and have left a darkly comic reminder of just how important it is to be smart about keeping your things safe. It might be surprising to see this left on your laptop when you get back, but better than no laptop at all.
