Sadly, Mackenzie lost her life when she was driving home from work. The authorities called it a “freak crash” that only involved her car, and only involved one fatality. It was reported that the 17-year-old was heading south on Highway 441 when they believe she veered off the road and off the overpass.
Her car landed on the highway below, and she was pronounced to be deceased on the scene. There was nothing that could be done to save the youngster, and police blame the crash on possible adverse weather conditions.
