Because Alyson knows that her daughter won’t get to achieve her dreams of one day becoming a nurse, she wanted to do something that would allow others to do so in her honor. So, Alyson decided to create a scholarship fund for those who want to become nurses in the local area.
She will raise money, and she will put these young people through the relevant qualifications to achieve what her daughter couldn’t. It’s to honor her legacy, and also to honor Mackenzie’s life.
