As Alyson took in the picture in front of her and read the quote that her loving daughter had written in permanent marker, she just couldn’t believe her eyes. Tears began to well, and the words seemed to strike a chord with the mother.
Mackenzie had written that “Someday you will look back and know exactly why this had to happen to you,” and Alyson just didn’t know what to say. She felt as though her daughter was speaking directly to her and saying the words she needed to hear more than anything, even though she had written it over a year ago.
