One rule that Meghan has managed to stick to, however, is not having her own social media pages. Instead, she has had to rely on the Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages that are run by the PR team at Kensington Palace. They’re the first ones to announce any particular news about the Royal Family – such as when one of the Duchesses is expecting a baby or official engagement news.
Of course, social media is still pretty new, and so it is a big learning curve for the Royal Family. At one point, it’s reported that Kensington Palace even had to turn comments off, as people weren’t saying very nice things about Meghan in particular. While they’re still learning, it’s impressive that they’re embracing the modern and younger audience.
