Meghan Markle had to give up quite a lot of the things she loved when she met Prince Harry. As well as leaving her acting career behind, it’s a rule that members of the Royal Family are not allowed to have any of their own social media accounts. So, Meghan had to say goodbye to her Instagram and all of her beloved followers and fans.
Long gone were the photos of her vacations and partying ways. Instead, she had to rely on the Kensington Palace Instagram page to update her fans on her relationship with Prince Harry. Oh, and the thousands of news sources who follow her every move, of course. It must have been strange to give up her social media.
