When big Josh Baskin heads to his new job he meets Paul Davenport, played by John Heard. Some like to joke that Paul exemplifies the classic ‘80s office jerk, and that description does seem to fit.
Those who grew up watching movies in the ‘80s and ‘90s will likely remember Heard from both his role in Big, as well as playing the dad in the Home Alone movies. Sadly, in July 2017, Heard passed away at age 71 after suffering a heart attack. He is survived by his two children.
