The arcade fortune teller machine in the movie, called Zoltar, was designed after similar machines that can often be found at fairs and arcades.
While it was initially just made as a prop for the film, afterwards the name Zoltar was trademarked, and these days you can find actual Zoltar machines at arcades and homes all around the country. However, unlike the movie, there isn’t a ramp for putting coins in Zoltar’s mouth. And given what happened to Josh, you may want to be careful what you wish for.
