Bruce moved to California after his time in New York City didn’t prove fruitful. He was in a few minor roles but nothing worth writing home to, until he landed his role in Moonlighting in 1985. He auditioned for the role along with 3,000 other actors. It was his lucky break. He was about to move back east too! The show Moonlighting was his breakout role.
