Speaking of Die Hard, also known as one of the films that made him the Hollywood heavyweight he is today, it was also the film that caused Bruce to go almost entirely deaf in his left ear. During the scene where his character kills one of the bad guys by shooting him under a table, the shots were so loud that Bruce lost much of his hearing in the ear in question.
